Pretty crazy that it has to be that exact huh?
I haven't delved too deep into it yet,as I haven't had a problem. But apparently it has to do with the design and the rollers that ride up on ramps to engage it. They are really affected by the fluid level I guess.

Wow, that's really amazing that you have to be that precise. Although, when I changed mine, it said 9 oz... that's what I put in. Sure hope I got every drop of the old stuff out, or it's... overfull. LOL

ya it is amazing but too much adds to much pressure i would guess. ya the 5 oz is for the rearend i was thinking and didnt check my book. it works is all that matters.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

sheepdog- not sure why that is all that would fit. I pre measured 9.3 oz and it went just below the fill threads. And we also have the same machine. I guess all that matters is the machine is working properly.
