Glad to hear it fixed your problem...and hopefully it says fixed.
Pretty crazy that it has to be that exact huh?
I haven't delved too deep into it yet,as I haven't had a problem. But apparently it has to do with the design and the rollers that ride up on ramps to engage it. They are really affected by the fluid level I guess.

Wow, that's really amazing that you have to be that precise. Although, when I changed mine, it said 9 oz... that's what I put in. Sure hope I got every drop of the old stuff out, or it's... overfull. LOL

Anyhow, sure glad dslanec is back up and running.

On my owner book ( 2007 x2 deluxe ) said 9.3 oz with the ADC. I fill the front diff. at the bottom of the lower tread like the book said also...work for me.

All I could ever get into my ADC front diff is 6 oz. before it would start coming back out of the fill hole. I've never had a problem with mine going into AWD with the switch in 2x4.

sheepdog- not sure why that is all that would fit. I pre measured 9.3 oz and it went just below the fill threads. And we also have the same machine. I guess all that matters is the machine is working properly.
