owners manual, polaris atp 330 2005 & Plow Recs

I believe all these different opinions and reviews really depend on how rough you are when you plow...You could probably get away with a lesser quaility set up if your more careful but if you are more aggressive than you're gonna need a stronger set up...So I believe it's hard to depend on reviews but I guess it's a good starting point......JMO....

Quik question, I'm being told by a supplier that my Polaris ATP 330 is "underpowered" for a tapered blade, that I should stick to only a 50" or 54" straight blade, and to perhaps consider the 14 ga. "lite" Eagle blade. Any thoughts????? thanks!!!!

I personally think it's a little underpowered for a big heavy blade, but even a 250 can plow snow with a 48" blade. Not as good as bigger machine but still better than shoveling.

I can shed some light on the Eagle/Tusk plows. They are the same.I was in contact with Kevin at American Manufacturing seeking a mount for my XP.He stated that they are the same.Kevin took care of me and sent me a proto type XP mount.
I have friends with Glacier 2's and Eagles I went with Eagle from what I was told by them.Just search and you'll see....Any questions just PM me.

I guess everyone has there own opinions about winches......Some guys have had good luck with other brands like Viper, Gorilla and a few others but I've heard of more problems with them than I have with the Warn's or Ramsey's...So I say spend the extra bucks and get a warn....When you're stuck somewhere deep in the woods you'll be happy you have a warn on your machine to get you out.....JMO
