i like my 500. least i can use the recoil to start it if the battery goes dead. its save me many times. on my new 500 and my old 335. good luck trying to start a 800 in the middle of the woods/trail on a dead battery, with no one around.</end quote></div>
Never had a problem with mine. If your 500 is going dead on you out in the woods I would turn off some off those accessories that way it won't happen.

i still prefer to know there is another way to start it if the battery would go dead. you cant see evything comein at ya. just last week during the cold streak my battery took a crap. i still had to plow snow. i had to use the recoil to start it since the battery wouldnt keep a charge. i just like the option knowing that i can start it manuely if needed.

theres a few times on my old 335 were i had to use my headlights. but i used them longer than thought, also the headlights were still bright. but there wasent enought to start it. least i could use the recoil. also when my battery was starting to go.
on my new wheeler i had to used the recoil since the battery froze. other than that i just like to know thats theres another way to start it fif somethin go wrong in the battery area, or starter. its one thing if the wheeler dont start becuse of a other issue. but knowing it wont start becuse the starter dont work and theres no recoil to start it would really make my day.
