Angry Polaris / Dealership motto

I belive I was right. The motto for Polaris is "You bought it, your stuck with it SUCKER"
FYI: I believe Michigan Lemon Law Attornneys and Counselors I dealt with couldn't line their pockets enough to take any interest. www.LemonAuto.com is a F***ing joke!

Thumbs up Finally

After a Major A** chewing my dealership owner decided it was the fault of the Junk self tappers. Common sence prevailed. So my 500 is going back into the shop to have a new brush guard installed at their cost. I WIN!

Cool Polaris Customer Support

Wrote Polaris Custom Support about this idea of changing their Junk self tapping bolts. They sent mt a e-mail back of Thanks. But I really doubt that they ever pass this info on to anyone with this problem. So hopefully this thread will clue others in.
Good Luck Guys

Default 2005 sporstman 800

Hi guys,
I just bought a '05 sportsman 800 blown-up. I rebuilt the entire motor basicly, new case, crank, cylinders, cam, lifters, bearings, bushings, and pistons. I put all together going by the polaris service manual for the wheeler last weekend. I finished it and started it up and there was some knocking that i had expected due to the lifters needing to get pumped up with oil. Long be hold the knocking never really went away. I talk to the prevous owner and another guy that has rode these 800's and they both said that it is normal to make the knocking noise. Has anyone else heard of this? Is it normal for the noise? It sounds like a lose rocker arm, but i rember torqureing all the rocker arms. Any help would be much appreciated.

I purchased a 2007 500 x2. It came with a plow set up. Looks like a Glacier 2 set up. I dont see how it can be all that flimsy. Looks solid with regular bolts. Can I mount a Promark front brushguard with the plow mount installed as well. I did a little trail riding with the plow mount on it and it did not really bother me. Thanks
