As Polaris customers what would you??

I don't really think the exhaust getting so damn hot and melting my plastic and my seat is rider abuse, I didn't even have 50hrs on this machine and the front diff. took a $hit from just a couple of rides and some work around the house, just after the warrenty was over and I didn't beat the crap out of it either, it wasn't even broken in yet just broke. Both of these things are big prolems that Polaris has and they just don't give a $hit or care to fix the problems. For a 500 it's a great machine, it does everthing I need it to do and then some, but Polaris needs to start standing behind there product alittle better. My dealer even backed me on this and told to write a complaint to them but they just didn't give a $hit.

I'd definitely agree on the warranty issues. They need to back what they build. Also depends on the dealer how much support you get. My 05 800 had a few issues that they fixed after warranty at no cost to me and never had any probs after that. Have run into people that did have had reliabilty issues and after six months you are pretty much screwed. That should change.
Polaris could also start making some off the "accessories" standard. Winch, front/rear rack extenders, and maybe even bumpers would be a plus. Sucks spending all that $ on a machine that you have to go drop $1000 into so it is redy for long trail rides or a day of mudding.
A little more R&D on the accessories would be nice too. I know they put a heck of a machine together with the new XP line but the plows are having issues and I've heard they don't turn well when pulling a trailer with a load in it.

Toycrazy, I think I would be taking a serious look at your dealer here! First, he KNOWS customer complaints have to be handled at the dealership! HE should be the one that is working for you! Second, a good dealer can get pretty much anything out of Polaris within reason! My dealer has been with Polaris before they started building ATVs and prides himself on top shelf service, maybe that is why he has service awards hung in the show room dating back to the early 70'S!
Keep in mind that Polaris DOES monitor the service histories and customer satisfaction of EVERY dealer and the good dealers have MUCH more clout when asking for grey area service from Polaris...buy your machine from a sales first/service last dealer and you may get a cheap price, but you may pay down the road when the service department can only change oil and does do that well!
A good example of great service was last summer coming home from a weekend ride 300 miles from home, somewhere along the way I lost the $360 seat off my 400 HO! I was sick thinking I was going to have to lay down the $$$ to replace it! Talked to Darrel, (the owner), and he made ONE phone call...three days latter the new seat was on my machine!
I have said this a thousand times, and I will say it one more time...IT'S NOT WHAT YOU BUY, IT'S WHERE YOU BUY!!!
