As Polaris customers what would you??

Like I said, my dealer was doing everything to try to get them to replace my seat, he even sent pictures of it twice to them and they still didn't give rats a$$. He was the one that told to make the complaint, and with the front diff. he said he would meet me half way on it. He has been a Polaris dealer for a very long time, and is well respected.

I also second that Chuck on the alternetor is just doesn't keep up to the lights, winch and hand warmers when plowing at night.
And also with Caper on the plastic cage, whats up with that, I know that the front diff. is not built by Polaris, but I think they need to rethink the front diff thing, I like the way the AWD work but something needs to changed. If you have problems with it I think you can better help from Hilliard (That makes the diff.) Than you can with Polaris cause they just don't give a RATS A$$ about it

i would also love for popo to change the clutch drainhole on the 850 WHAT were they THINKING???</end quote></div>
What is so bad about the location and where would you have them put it? Serious question not being smart.
It has to be in the lowest portion of the housing..the only other place that I can see they could really put it is on the bottom...even harder to get to and more subjected to damage. If they designed the housing so the lowest point was on he side..ie in front of the right tire it would have left the housing less proteted and more prone to damage IMO.
But I really do wish they would have made it with a butterfly type grip much like the dip stick so it could be removed without tools..

850 XPR---- 850 motor with a lighter frame, no racks, sport suspension ETC. Why let Can Am have all the fun...LOL. For real...</end quote></div>
I like this idea!! Base the chassis on the outlaw IRS, modify it for the 850 XP powertrain and AWD.

The melting plastic problem shouldn't be a warrenty thing. Polaris said thats why they wouldn't replace my seat cause it was out of warrenty, BUT they are having the dealers install NEW heat sheilds at THERE COST, but they can't do anything about my seat cause of warrenty, that just doesn't sound right. In my letter to Polaris I ask them, then why are you replacing the heat sheilds at your cost if you can't replace my seat cause it's out of warrenty and I got not one reply after I ask them that.

It would be nice to have a longer warranty, and it would it would be nice if they had decent customer support/service. However, as long as they continue the capture the market share that they are looking to capture (and more) they will change nothing. Let's just be happy that they seem to be trying to continually improve their products.</end quote></div>
I agree here, a decent warranty would be appropriate as would a real customer service line where they truly address your issue/concern/question rather than just spitting out the automatic; Contact your nearest dealer with your problem.....
As it stands now, I'll look elsewhere for my next ATV as will my brother and there are several others with the same sentiment that I know.
