Where is my gas gauge 2002 Polaris Sportsman 700

As my title says. I have a 2002 sportsman 700. Do these have a gas gauge anyplace? Or do they make them? Kinda dumb not to be able to tell how much gas you have. Thanks for any help.

My 03 700 didn't. Just kinda knew when to put more in. Never passed up a gas station on trails, just in case even if only took a gallon or so.

no this is no gas gauge and is not an option. they added the gas gauges around 2005. but your really not missing much. alot of people including me have has gas gauge issues.

Gas gauge became standard in 04.

find out what kind of milage you get and then use your trip odometer to check how many miles you have gone and sstill can go. safer then a fuel gauge imo

Take the cap off and look inside the tank.Its not that hard to do.Or run until you hit reserve.
They make a cap with a gauge in it but none are accurate.Best to just keep an eye on it.
