I have 27" XTR's and I love them, granted I've only had them for 1 good 60ish mile ride, but they went through some nice mud holes, over some rock, and up some huge hill's, and I wasn't expecting much of a change from my stock PXT's, but there was a substantial change

 

Yep, I've heard 99% good reports on the XTRs. Unless I can get a really good deal on something else, I'll just save my coin until I scrape up enough for the XTRs.

 

Moose, just to save you some serious time of searching that I did, no one came close to ebay prices for the XTR's in 26" or 27"

 

Yep, I've looked around alot and have seen the same thing. I can get 26" tires for about $450 if they are not on rims and $700 or so on ITP aluminum rims. The only way I'll go for something else is if I see someone really wanting to get rid of good tires and rims on Craigslist.
