1999 Polaris Sportsman 500 help
As the title says I need some help. The ATV was in an accident about 2 years ago. Just now got it back together. Was running good when I pulled it into the shop. Pulled it out and it has an exhaust leak. I think when we pulled the muffler off it messed the seal up or put something in a bind and now it has an exhaust leak at the front where it meets with the manifold.
I can put my foot on the guard and it will seal easy so it's not a MAJOR leak although it is noticeable.
Would it be "safe" to ride for maybe an hour?
Also what should I be looking for? binding or what?

Thanks for the info. WEnt out this morning started it up and it wasn't leaking. Rode it for about an hour and it never did start leaking.
Needless to say not my issue anymore. Traded it straight up for a 2001 Honda 400ex. I know the new owner personally and is my automotive teacher at school.
Thanks for the info though. Appreciate it.
