It is my understanding that the Wally World Everstart batteries are made by the same company that makes Intersate batteries (Johnson Controls). I recently put two in my Dodge Cummins, so far seems like a good battery. Hope this helps.

I would go with the odyssey battery. Not much more than the other cheaper batteries. Look at batteries plus. They have a website. I believe the 925 is the one, like already stated.

Plowing with a winch is very hard on batteries, especially with short runs because the RPM's don't get high enough to charge what the winch already stole from the battery. I also agree with getting a battery tender and plug it in if you aren't riding it every couple days, especially when stored in a cold garage.

My luck with batteries in the past have not been good once they are charged down. It's much less headache to just get a new battery.

In my experience the gel type batteries last over twice as long as the liquid ones and aren't much more money. Main thing is to keep it charged.

Roofer...
The Odyssey # is PC925L...The L is important...Just the PC925 has the terminals on the wrong side and I didn't have enough slack in the cables to make it work...

Well my cuz came over today and used his battery charger/air compressor thingy (got to get me one of those) and charged both our bikes and let them run for a while. I won't claim if it will start up tomorrow or even how long it will LAST with all the winching but I am willing to put it to the test...8-)

Cheers,

Deka AGM battery... and make sure it (or whatever you get) lives on a Battery Tender, or you'll be asking "Mamma" for another $100 in two years.
