Saw the same video and noticed the red/white wire. Still seems on ones I did there was a solid red wire? But like I said it's been awhile. Plus other posters when they mentioned the red wire may not be noticing the stripe when they post.. Is the "statr" still displaying on speedo, that shouldn't be happening?

It's still saying that, didn't have time to work on it, hopefully tonight I'll go over the whole wiring and figure this out.

The wire is indeed buried in the wiring harness. Don't know why it doesn't state so in the instructions.

Thumbs up

So I checked everything over, that yellow/red striped wire (from the picture I posted) does connect somewhere. It connects on to the new yellow/red wire that comes from the stator that is beside the gas tank. I noticed it while watching the video and thought i might have forgotten it.

Now the RPM's are showing on the POD and I'm charging at 14.4V at idle. I'm still connected to that red/white wire and everything is good. Maybe people often refer to this wire as just a red wire by mistake, I dunno?

Glad it was something simple.

Thanks for all the help

The yellow/red is the stator rpm signal wire that I was thinking about, reason why the "statr' kept showing up on the display. Glad you got this sorted and also the confusion about the RED/WHITE primary power wire and not a solid RED like what's been posted by others and what I had etched in my own brain also even after all the kits I installed!
