Does anyone know where i can get a 2004/2005 polaris sportsman 500 HO ECM Module? Part Number is 4010937 or superseded to 2203348. I cant find them anywhere (i am told that they are backordered by Sure Fire). I bought a battery by mistake with flipped terminals and hooked it up and fried the ECM. Thanks!

If it did not get change on the Polaris recall http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml05/05583.html than the dealer should change it for free, there is no time limit on safety recalls.
If not ,I find ebay has good deals or these guys.OEM motorcycle and ATV parts from Honda, Yamaha & Polaris – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Call several Dealers in your area if you have more than one.........Most will stock some due to the recalls........One dealer in my area told me they were on back-order and another about 1/2 hour drive away had 3-4 in stock.
I really don't think they check with other dealers .They will just make you wait until "THEY" get them ordered and in stock.......Caper..........
