Bought a 2004 330trailboss used last summer, ran like a champ til about a month ago. Was riding one day looked down and the plastic side panel was melting, stopped to check&pipe was so hot you could not get your hand close. It will crank&run fine, but within a couple of minutes the pipe is cherry red. Checked pipe&muffler everything looked fine, only thing i could find was one of the small bolts on top of head was stripped out could this be the cause, need help please. Thanks, billy

 

ya that could be your problem retap it and try that i use to have a 300 6x6 big boss that did the same thing and it was the same problem
