If your in mud doing low speed would you not be in low range anyways? I can nose up to a brick wall and dig 4 ruts without smoking a belt if I,m in low range.

I smoked a belt two different times and they both disintegrated about 100 miles later. I carried a spare and tools and changed it on the side of the trail.

Your may have a problem some where, I change my belt every 2000 miles even though the belt still looks and acts good, I just change it for peace of mind sake.

Likewise, I just changed the belt on my 07 with a 1000 miles which is a little premature but I'm going on a 3 day trip and wanted a fresh belt. The original belt still looks/acts new so it's going into the tool box as a trail side spare, just in case.

with these tires i can not spin all 4 parked against a tree or something. If i gas it full on maybe, but not at partial throttle. I do a lot of work with it as well. Gonna see what EPI can put together for me

Do this right and you wont be disappointed.Call Rick Ritter 618-644-3211 and go with a DALTON kit it is way better set up than EPI.May be a bit pricey but worth it.

Or if you a tight on cash first try setting the secondary to a lighter setting.
