Look at the two jumper wires that come with the kit that tie into the regulator/rectifier. One you use,one is for the 600 ignition.

Hey Old Polaris Tech.

Each yellow/red striped wire had a corresponding yellow/red stripped wire to plug into so I just plugged both of them in.
It runs fine.

Should I go back and change anything?

Thanks
Bubba

First check that it's charging okay back to the battery at an idle if it runs good. Should be 14-14.5 volts on average. If it charges okay leave it the way you have it. Both yellow/red wires are from the stator for the regulator/rectifier and may just have a junction where the wire splits into two,but still from the same source. Been 3 years now,so my memory is a little foggy. The instructions are a little vague also about the jumper harness wires to use also.

When I put the speed odometer in diagnostic mode its says its throwing 14.3-14.5 volts.
So I should be good or should I go ahead and check it at the battery?
Thanks
Bubba

Speedo should be accurate in most cases, but I always trusted my fluke meter directly at the battery more than any speedo reading. But that's just me...
