Default 02 Sportsman 700 -- Plugs?

So I am trying to get to the plugs on my 02 Sportsman (got it used) do you need to remove the gas tank and carb to get them out?

No, you just need small hands. It is easier (not easy) to access both from the shifter side of the atv. It is a definate knuckle buster to get in there. I usually put the end of the socket on first then snake the rachet thru evrything to get it to the socket. Not much room to manuever.Make sure you clean the area around the plugs so that packed mud and dirt don't go inside the motor.
