In that type riding, properly working ADC would be great. Only out here in the arid West can you ride and simultaneously battle deep snow and dust at the same time.
What kind of camera are you using and how did you mount it?

I have a Canon PowerShot SX130 IS. I picked this camera because it has a 12x zoom and that was great for the price.

I fold a hand towel and place it on the cargo box (to dampen vibration and act as a shock absorber) on the front of the ATV and use a bungee cord to hold the camera on.
In one or two of the videos you can see the white towel in the bottom left of the video. Certainly not high tech but it works.

This has nothing to do with my 550. I was just looking for a video and ran across this one from a couple of years ago. Though you would like the 3-wd comment. Doug was riding a Brute Force and thats the reason for my brute force comment.

With only 52 miles on them I took off the Dirt Commanders and put my Black Diamond XTR and STI HD2 wheels back on.
Going to see if they are still as good as I thought they were.

That stuff always comes out especially when there's a big group of guys with every brand represented. I was on a large group ride the other day and they were counting how many Polaris's there were to know how many tow straps to bring.
One of the Ranger's hit a huge boulder and broke a CV joint, so we pulled the axle out and finished the ride. When we got back the guys made up Can Am stickers and plastered them on the Ranger because only three wheels would turn in four wheel drive....

I used to ride with a good friend who had a 500 HO and I was riding my Honda.
He always told me he'd bring the tools (to fix his) if I brought the tow strap (to pull me out of the holes).

Here's the four King Quads that took turns eating my lunch today.
Chase's 750 KQ eating the snow - YouTube
I could not make it up this on my 550 Touring no matter how many times I tride;
it just didn't have enough ground clearance. Chase even has the stock tires on his KQ.

Here's Mark pulling me thru with his KQ.

I spent the better part of the day riding Pams 07 700 KQ.
This is one of the most comfortable ATVs I have riden.
I missed my EPS and XTRs.

The lack of ground clearance is was kept me from following them in the snow.
This is the one thing I don't like about IRS.
If my Rubicon has 10" of ground clearance with nothing on it and I then load 200 pounds on the rear rack I still have 10" of ground clearance.
Not so with IRS, the more you load it the less GC you have.

Here's how I finished up the day.

It doesn't look like much ground clearance at all under your touring model. My 07 sp500 has a full 12" under the front and 14" at the rear all stock except for the HD springs up front which I haven't measured the clearance since the install, but it sits even higher now for sure.
