yes I think it was Item 15 that was partially PLUGGED, But where does that plug into? it was being smothered by that foam rubber wrapped around the clutch and air filter vents? thanks for you help OPT!

You can add another piece of vent hose and route it to where the foam wont block it or just run a complete new vent line like the 2003 models went to.Item #17. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse On some models the vent hose just went from the carb nipple and terminated into the hole in the frame bracket that held the carb brace. Any way you want to run it to where it's not obstructed and can get good air flow.
