some people just cry all the time....

The battery works perfect there and takes 2 min to remove. nothing hard about it. The battery has no problem being submerged ect... (if someone wants to bet,I'm sure I can have one from fully installed to on my bench in under 1min )

If the battery is hitting the drive shaft you have big problems !

Storm , you bought a 570 for $4,800 ? New ? Dealer cost is WAY more than that.

Ive torn down a 570 and I dont think there all that bad in the fit and finish department. there built pretty well.

For a Entry level quad in the entry level price range you get a lot for your money.

The 570 is a great quad for the price, no doubt about that. I guess the battery is fine where it is lol. You get a lot of performance for the money.

If you have a dead battery, is there a recoil backup like the old Sportsman 425 or 500 models had?

If not, maybe that's why everyone is a little uptight? Getting stranded miles in the woods over just a dead battery should never happen.

The battery location on the 570 is in the same location as the 500x2. It seems the ones getting their feathers ruffled are the ones that use their atv's as submarines.

If you ride alone, buy a boost pack. They are worth the money. Polaris made the recoil an option in 2011 Dont think they are an accessory anymore.

I guess the question is, how hard would it be to pull start. The Grizzly 660 has backup pull start but I'd hate to ever have to use it. I'd probably hurt my shoulder. Mine doesn't work anyway, the spring for the recoil is worn out so if the battery dies I am stranded. A boost pack does sound like a good idea.

I forgot to mention, the battery location on the fuji value machines was worse. Up in the left rear wheel well, they get covered in everything, but I have never had an issue. I do like the new location better.

These single jug fuji are high compression, but do have a release. Pulling one over wouild be a workout.
