Oil pressure gauge for 96 Polaris Sportsman 500 engine?
I was just curious to see, if there is a way to hook up a aftermarket oil pressure gauge to my 96 Sportsman 500 engine. There is a oil pump in there, so you should be able to connect a oil pressure gauge somehow right? it would cool to be able to hook one up to keep track of oil pressure while riding.

"Oil Pressure Test - EH 50PL"
1. Remove blind plug on front left cylinder head.
2. Insert a 1/8 NPT oil pressure gauge adaptor into the cylinder
head and attach the gauge.
3. Start engine and allow it to reach operating temperature,
monitoring gauge indicator.
This is from the manual on oil pressure test procedure. You can hook a gauge fitting here. Pressure shows to be minimum 12psi @5500 rpms. Max reading shows 20psi @5500 rpms, but readings may vary.
