2004.5 polaris sportsman 500
#1
Hello all,
Sorry about the title auto correct.
I have a 2004.5 sportsmen 500. The other day the ecm had smoke coming from it and lost all power. I just replaced the ecm and battery and I still have no power. I've been reading up on this so I tried the jumper wire on the kill switch and still nothing. I am getting power from the battery to the solenoid. I still have no power to start up. What am I missing? Thanks.

fixed your title for you.
sounds like you might have a shorted/grounded power wire that might have taken out your ecm. if you haven't done it you might want to trace your wires to make sure there isn't bear or pinched wires shorting out somewhere.
