i just installed a hpd pipe for 99 400 explorer and i have the stock clutch kit.will a clutch kit help me as much as the pipe?i can set on the seat in high gear and floor it and it will stand straight up and will run the speedo needle down in the digital readout on top end.will the kit help me more than a kit for a stock piped 400?

A clutch kit will DO WONDERS for your piped Xplorer.I have a Heel Clicker clutch kit on my 00 Xplorer 400cc 4x4,it ROCKS.Dont buy any of the other clutch kits, they are junk in comparison to the HC kit.Type in Supertorquer,it will take you directly to the HC web site and it has a phone number as well.

Suddenly your an expert on clutch kits. What's next. The Super Torquer kits aren't even perfected yet, you have no official timed runs and seat of the pants is no way to judge a clutch kit. What about your loss in bottom end? Darryl at HPD has actually dynoed his clutch kits to the best possible results. He has a drag strip along his property with timing lights and the quads carry onboard computers. You don't even install your own clutch kits. Why should we feel that your "testing" is backed with experience and credability? I guess I get a little infuriated when I see people knock the competition with no useful facts to support the claim.
