clutch dragging???

first look to see if it iddle to high. Than change the belt. Then if it still does the problem, I would clean every component in the clutch assembly and if it still does it, you may have clutch problems. I found that if you don't know about clutches that it's easier to take it to a good dealer and have it fixed.

Take off the belt housing and put it in gear. Watch to see where the belt is touching the primary clutch. If it is rubbing the inside of the driven clutch, you need to add a shim to the inside of the driven clutch. If it is rubbing the outside, you need to remove a shim... You will see what I mean. It is what we call clutch creep. Your clutches are not lined up properly... That is my guess anyway.

This is a common problem. You can do one of two things to fix it. You can either Shim your secondary clutch by placing a shim between the two sheeves.(The right way to do it)
Or you could put a Scrambler belt on it 3211077 I think is the part #
The scrambler belt will work fine and won't hurt anything, However because you have EBS on it the srambler belt will get a little chewed up over a period of time because of the different style cogs on the belt.
I've done both with good results.

The service manual lists Pn# 7556401 that can be added or removed from behind the driven clutch. Adding more shims between the sheaves of the driven clutch.(Is the wrong way to do it) Is the belt for the Scrambler longer or shorter? Why would it be a fix for clutch creep?
