i just put my hpd pipe back on my xplorer and i need to get a clutch kit for it.what is the difference between a piped xplorer kit and a stock kit???anyone have a used kit for sale for my piped 400 xplorer??

 

The Manufacturers test and tune the kits to work in symphony with their pipes.....if you get the kit to go along with that pipe, you will be performing the symphony of 'R' Major........That R is for Roost!!!!!

if you have HPD pipe than get a hpd clutch kit,depending on what you do,their aggressive clutch kit run great for higher performances.
the difference is that the hpd kit is dialed for the increasing powerband of the pipe and the peak rpm,you should use only stock kit when you're running stock pipe.
