Default Explorer 400??????????????

If you don't want to buy the ATV- let me know, I'll take it!!

Anyone know where I can get a good used ATV (polaris)-- 2x4 or 4x4....would kinda like to have low range.
It is for my son, Liquid would be the best but 2 or 4 stroke--doesn't matter...300ccc and up. nothing over $3,000.00

You could check e-bay, or Cycle Trader (I hope I got the link right).

Default Explorer 400??????????????

I have a 1998 400 Sport with an Aaen 440 big bore kit, trail ported, 38 tmx flatside carb. , V-force reeds, DG pipe, KN filter, and clutch mods. I have just recently put a lot of new parts on it. Front bearings and seals, brakes, drive belt, chain and sprokets, and a automatic chain tensioner. The bike is very solid and fast. It will outrun any stock bike out there. My buddys 650 prairie twin will run 72 mph and my bike is around 5mph faster. There is no low range on the sport. I really like this bike but I just purchased another one and need some cash. $2000.00 If you are interested send me a private message with your phone or Email and I will contact you. I will meet somewhere within 200 miles of Kansas City Mo.

i have a 00 400 xplorer and my list of broken stuff is about the same as muddy4lifes with a few others like rivets coming out of the lower steering stem bushing (replaced with bolts fine now)and armature plates wearing in front hubs causing 4x4 to activate when in 2 wheel drive mode resulting in a bent front drive shaft. The problem with this machine is it begs to be rode like a sport atv its way to much fun and you for get it is still a heavy 4x4 machine .If you ride this machine like it is suppose to be rode you shouldn"t have any problems i have friends with the same machine , same miles (3500)0 problems , After saying that this is the best most fun atv i have ever owned and will be keeping it for a long time.
