Jack3689,
You are correct. The premium grade is the Gold Series 1356. You just have to tell them Gold Series 1356. My friend who provided the part number runs a used car dealership and may have gotten a discount to get his for $5.00. Either way $7.00 is alot better than $14.00 for the Polaris brand.

At least NAPA has them in stock- heck I'd pay $14 even! Polaris really dropped the ball on this item.

The release is very easy to get at, I installed it myself. Very simple, took less then an hour. It comes with the roller fair lead and it is a fixed mount, not multi-mount. I haven't taken picture's yet.

Changed the oil for the first time yesterday. The NAPA Gold 1356 oil filter fits perfectly. FYI- when you 700 owners change your oil for the first time take note NOT to stick your funnel in the oil fill/check tube and dump the whole quart in a once! I made this mistake and ended up having 1/2 a quart of oil coming back UP the fill/check tube! Pour in SLOWLY and let the air escape from the crankcase! BTW- the 0W-40 Polaris oil is GREEN! When I first started pouring it in I stopped and double-checked that I hadn't mistakenly bought 2-stroke mix oil! I have tried to find a more economic oil to use in the quad as the Polaris branded 0W-40 oil runs darn near $7/qt. The ONLY other synthetic 0W-40 oil that I can find is sold under the Mobil1 brand. Only problem is that NONE of my local auto dealers (NAPA, Murray's, AutoZone) stock that grade. Oh well, I guess I am stuck buying the $7/qt stuff!
