I didn't compare the kids ATV's before purchasing. If I had, I would have bought different. I know the LT80 has the transmission as part of the rear suspension which is not a good thing.

Search this forum for "Kids ATV's" or something similar. Or just go to this thread here as it pretty extensively covers the topic.

Your son is physically smaller than my middle son, who's about the right size for a 90, so you will probably want to stick to this size machine and upgrade it as his skills progress.
