sp 500 clutch

i was wondering if you guys had any problems with any of your sportsman's. i heard the clutch is completly shot after trail riding about a month because of the auto. tranny.

Do you honestly think if it was shot after a month of trail ridding we all would still own an "auto tranny"?

Of course not!

are sportsman's good trail machines or are they just good for working

I guess I am into mudding. My 500HO is great for that. Place for the winch good sized fenders and I also get to use it for work around the yard. I have a plow on it for the winter. If I only rode hard pack dirt trails fast / full out there are better choices.
