Hey, dont feel bad, you are not in the minority. it takes time and patience to learn what each will do. But basically. When you see a spring listed, an engagement pressure and full shift out pressure is given. The larger the first number, the more initial rpm's will be needed to get the machine moving. Say your stock machine has a 0lbs and 115lbs rating. To get a higher initial takeoff, you would try to get a spring a little higher on the first number but ac close as possible on the second number.say a 50 or 60 on the first number and a 125-130 on the second. The second number will do 2 things. It will help determine when the vehicle will start to shift out (to a certain extent, the secondary also plays a part in that)and it will help determine the top operating rpms of the engine (the weights also play a part in that) There are so many springs from different companies out there, you can accomplish pretty much what you need. I personally like the oem if you can use them, but that is just my preference.Be careful and ask questions if you dont feel good about a selection. You can go the wrong way in a hurry. Aaen's clutch tuning handbook is a good bible to have if you like messing with them yourself. Are you good and confused now? Hope this helps,Bubba
