My stock clutching on my Trail Boss isn't going to cut it. My mods are: Race Port, 35TMX carb, DG pipe, milled head, .40 over Wiseco. At first I thought the same as most of you do about the DG pipe but once I did some mods to the siencer it's not real loud and the sound it great it also made it rev like a 2 stroke should. What clutching would you guys reccomend should I just change springs or buy the whole kit if so what manufacture. Thanks

This is just my opinion but if you get a clutch kit from any company then you should
get their pipe. But if you really like the DG pipe, talk with Rick Ritter at RCR and tell
him about all your mods. He should be able to fix you up.

Hey Mojave i also had a DG pipe on my Trailblazer. I didnt listen to anyone about the performance loss with DG untill i drove a TB with an hpd pipe and clutch kit. He completely blew my doors off. I junked the pipe and went with HPD. The best choice i ever made but lost money doing it. Pipes and clutches NEED to match to get the full power increase.

My Trail Boss is a 93 which HPD doesn't make a pipe for that year. I"m very good at modifacations to make things work do you think it's possible to fit a pipe off a 02 onto a 93? I would love to have an HPD pipe

There is probably several things you could do. Trying to fit a later model pipe on
might work! I had a 99 400 sport pipe on my 99 TB for a short time but I had to
fab alot of stuff and never got an exhaust leak completely sealed. It ran pretty
good though! I do believe RCR makes their own pipes. So I would try him, maybe
he can make a pipe for your quad!
