Default New 700 Sportsman

I bought my first Polaris today, a 2003 Mossy Oak 700 Twin Sportsman. It was hard for me to get away from Honda, but so far I am impressed with this machine. I don't know if it will be as dependable as a Honda or how well it will hold up, but it is unbelievably powerful and smooth riding. I rode it all afternoon down by the Red River where all the 4x4 trucks play, so far I don't think I even needed the front end pulling and went through some pretty bad mud holes. Anyway, this is an awesome machine. I am planning on going to my deer lease and riding it all day tomorrow. Might as well break it in in some mud, as it is going to see a lot of it.

The Mossy Oak Sportsmans are VERY sharp looking! Make sure you follow the proper break-in proceedures listed in your manual and change the oil at or before 20 hours of riding time. I am considering a Sportsman 600 this spring and giving the wife my 500.

v8s10 congrats on your new 700 mossy oak. i got mine on the 2nd and i love it. this 4 wheeler will go through anything. since deer season went out here in nc on the 1st, me and the guys at the hunting club decided to do some riddin' this past saturday. we had a great time and went through alot of mud, water, and open long shots. nothing could hang with the 700. we had 2-sp 700s, 2-sp 500s, 1-rubicon, and 1- prairie 650. the only competion is the prairie 650 but they lack the tires that the polaris's have. he could hang with me on the open rides but not in the mud and water. have fun with you new ride. the mossy oak camo looks great.
