Does Polaris have stock in a steel company? Why must the Sportsman weigh so much?? Throw in some aluminum here and there. I wouldn't trade my SP400 for any other brand, but some weight loss couldn't hurt.

You can buy alot of aftermarket aluminum parts for the Sportsmans. Bumper, skid plates, A-arm guards, racks, handle bars, rims, and other things.

Racks?!?!? Are they the same style as the stock ones?
Most of those things you listed don't exactly help reduce the weight...Wheels and handle bars maybe, the rest add more weight.
