400 xplorer clutch problems.

Glad to help but if you think you are still getting a vibration from your clutch you should remove the cover jack it up and rev it out to see for sure. Because if it is the clutch vibrating it will only be a matter of time before your working on it again, at those kind of rpms and loads it doesn't take long to wear something out. I'm not the expert on this stuff, I have worked on my clutches to modify them and general maintenance but I have not had to trouble shoot anything in there. I was hoping that you would get more responses from some of the more experienced guys on here. But then again maybe they have been checking this thread thinking we were on track. Good luck and have fun.

Yea i agree, I went mudding and did some heavy riding today with my friends and when it get a lil warmer im ganna take the cover off and inspect things a lil and do some checking on it frequently just to be on the safe side, and i rode more today and dont seem to notice a vibration until later i got a small one and then it went away but you can just barely tell its there but ill keep checking it and if nothing seems to be getting wore and anything bent outta whack it shud be fine *hopefully* and if it was anything else causing the vib i have no clue to what it wud be if it does act up again bucuz everything seems ok.
Thanks for the help skid! haz!

I just rebuilt the clutch on my Scrambler a few days ago. I noticed every vibration afterwards and there is always a litte, just from the engine I think. I watched the clutch spin and it is very smooth and quiet. All the way up the rev limiter it was smooth. Does yours get worse with higher revs?
