TIMMMAY, I do drive my polaris into a lake quite often. It drive right in, right through, and back out the other side.

 

Your Polaris has a "Jap Crap" engine in it.

Im going to write polaris to find out for sure but I think the 600 and 700 mortors are made in the states.....

Bill35 :I think you are right about the 700/600 engines. I just had to poke a little at you for saying "Jap Crap" (its a sensitive issue for me.....long story....just kidding)

I agree wholeheartedly. It's so disappointing that ours is an unpopular view on these forums. I don't like the fact that Polaris uses foreign carbs, but isn't that way better than the whole thing being foreign? The corporate greed and the apathy of the American people are the cause of all the jobs being lost to foreign countries. I realize this is a forum about quads, but don't we have to start somewhere???
