ANYONE have a clutch kit?
Yeah you are right, I am sorry for having saying what I said earlier. I just guess I like the way this forum is going and hate to see it change. As a matter of a fact, I did all the research by myself and talked to the manufacturers and told them what I wanted and chose from their catalogs with no one else's opinion. I think I did a pretty good job. There are a couple of things I would change, but not much. Yes I also learn alot from other people who have tried products and give their feedback. It is just the fact that right now in ATV Nation I am not learning anything because 90% of the posts are about the Heelclicker which does not pertain to me. Maybe I am being childish or self-centered In my thinking and I apologize If I am doing so. I just wanted my opinion out here and now I am fine because I have done so. You are right, people need to hear about great products and to learn from other people, tips that they have learned. Have at it Cob. Thanks

Human nature if it don't pertain to us, we aren't interested. LOL Now if it all was about AAEN you would be happy. There are many ppl yet that don't know about HEELCLICKER and just what it will do for these machines,I was so happy with what it done for me. I was happy with the 700 but at altitude (13-14,000ft) I was rather dissapointed in that I had to use low so much. I have now taken care of that, I ride allday in high at times. To me the best money spent on a machine is a quality clutch kit, no matter what one.

ANYONE have a clutch kit?
I was reading this thread because i have a Heelclicker in my Modified Xplorer400 which i trail ride and Flattrack race. At the crank i'm pushing between 65 and 70 hp and the HC clutch kit made the bikes power feel more managable. Before the HC i had HPD clutch components in the primary and secondary - you couldn't ride a "good" wheelie and to me i felt like i was always on the ragged edge. With my race tires on ( american racers 18" T-22's) on a paved roadway i can out pull a 300ex and 250r up to 60 mph by 1.5 bike lengths- not sure after that speed (straight was not that long). With the HC i do think i lost some top end ( i use to hit around 80 mph) but probable next weekend after i put a new pistion in i'm taking it to a local bike shop that has a dyno to see hp, mph and shift points. I'm using the Scrambler set up but with 4.3gm on the high range tip and i still have the HPD secondary spring at 1:1. But, for the type of racing i do (short track and TT in the Open Amature class) this system make a huge different because i and others usually only hit 50~60 mph in the straights on big tracks but i get there quick. man am i typing today, well that opinion.
