Anyone out there who has access to both machines .Could check and see if the much improved 700 belt snorkle would fit on my 04 500 H.O..Dealer says it probably won:t cause the 700 tank is different than the 500 and has an indentation in it for the snorkle to go up thru. Or any other good IDEAS to get the belt breather up higher ?

 

I thought about that a month ago, I don't believe it will, pulled side panels off both machines and the gas tanks are differant and I think even the mount is differant. The ATP has a hiegher clutch vent, but only about 2 inches.

 

Not sure if the two are inter-changeable, but try putting a nylon stocking over the opening it won't restrict the air flow, but will help repel the water away.

 

got to look at both machines the 700 snorkle won't fit the gas tank has an indentation for the snorkle to fit up in ,but will try your idea thanks
