2-stroke 250's?

i could see the tecate having 43hp if it had a powervalve I think that the 250 motocross bikes have about 50hp but most of them have powervalves

2-stroke 250's?

Stock Tecate was just over 40 hp from the factory. Stock Banshee around 41 hp. Stock 250R around 38 hp. Stock LT500 51 hp.

that sounds about right. isnt the trx 450R 42 hp? ive heard everywhere from 37- 42.

stock banshees do not have 42 horsepower and it may go faster top end than a tecate, but thats all because of gearing

Stock 250r's dont have 38 horsepower either. The 87-92 LT250R's and the quadzillas had a powervalve too.

Honda was the only one who never put a powervalve on the quad. THe Tec's were pretty fast, but Honda had it going on.
