Hey have any of you all put an alarm system on your quad. I have a motorcycle alarm that was given to me and i want to put it on my raptor. It looks pretty cool, it has remote arming/disarming and remote engine starting, a water proof remote controller along with some other cool features....... BUT!, the wiring schematic looks a little difficult... IT has two yellow wires that are suppose to go to turn signal lights... Can i just hook them up to the head lights or the brake lights....? And what about the remote starting feature, It would be neat if it could work, but i doesnt specify exactly where i should wire in this lead... If anyone knows anything about motorcycle alarms, please reply ... my friend has this done to his raptor. he hooked it up to the lights and the remote start works great. i cant really say how he did it cause he is a technical genious and im not. but once it works its pretty cool. i was thinking about having him do this to my z400 sometime soon

how did he put the remote starter on it, dont you have to hold in the clutch to start it???

 

Does anyone have a link to these alarms?? How does it start if your key is in the off position or in gear???
