How come it is this way on this forum... doesn't matter which sport quad... most of the threads turn into such an unreal mess that you can never get a real honest general concensus?
I've seen good and bad in every one I have owned and have no issues discussing the bad along with the good, or any limitations that there may be.

Because we do all our homework before we buy, so we are sure it is the absolute best machine for the type of riding we do! We have already eliminated all the losers from our list, so for each of us individually, what we ride is as near"perfect" as we can get.
But, if I bought something that has a problem, I won't be shy about telling everyone (like for instance I think the Rancher is 50 pounds to heavy!). That is what a forum is for, so others can tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly about the machines that are out there, before you buy!

Lets see here a quad let say averges about $7500.00 new, I dont think anyone wants to hear that what they have just bought is a pice of crap within all fairness what they have is a dimmond in the rough for there needs. We all have diff needs for a quad depending on the use, terrain, riding style ect ect. But on the flip side if someone is asking let say about a sport quad, we that own them are going to sujest what we have as that is what we know and then it ends up bringing us back to the first issue the whole $$$$$$ thing and what is the best bang for the $ as that is what all of us are looking for in the first place!

Not everyone will get into the flame wars. There is good information here, you just have to take the good with some of the bad. Just like any review you'll get from a magazine, opinions are included. Some opinions are expressed better than others.
I've gone to several other forums and it seems with each one, it's no different than it is here. Well, that's not entirely true, I've gotten a lot better information here than the others.

'owners pride'
Like was said, ppl want to defend their purchase as it is near and dear to them. Some ppl will state the positives AND negatives with less of a bias. Possibly with a 'but I like this quad and it suits me just fine' thrown in somewhere to that effect.
When I see an obviously biased response/comment, I just take what is said with a grain of salt...sometimes a handful lol...

I have to agree with scootergtx on this. Sure alot of people think their quad is the best but, that usually don't come up unless the title of your forum is "Which is best" or this 450 vs that 450.
The good information on this forum much out weighs those posts.

Well if you ask for an opinion on the "best" of anything, most of the time you will get a response based on experience of ownership.
Some guys like Ford some like Chevy, but chances are they own or have owned the one they like the best.
I think most people are honest in their assessment and will tell you if they have bought junk, or if they are very happy with their choice.
