Default Tough Decision.. help me out please

i have had both the 400ex and a kfx 400 which is a z400. the z was faster ( the z400 was stock and the 400ex had a full exhaust and kn air filter), i felt as though it had a smoother range of power, and could climb a little better the the 400ex. the 400ex is a honda so it will last a long time! either or you will not be dissapointed with these machines. i just got a trx 450er and the dealer was giving z400's for 4600 brand new which i thought was pretty good.

Yeh thats what the dude was saying. I most likely will be getting a honda. Went to the dealer today and they had a few 07 400ex's marked down to 4500. I almsot feel like they seem too big for me iuno maybe cause last thing I rode was my buddy's raptor 350?

I AM 5 10 AND 175LBS AND BEEN RIDING UTILITY QUADS FOR MANY YEARS, I HAVE NOW GOT A 400EX. I HAD CONSIDERED GETTING A 300EX, BUT AM VERY GLAD THAT I DIDN'T. I NOW FIND MYSELF WANTING MORE POWER SO I WOULD DEFFIINETLY GO WITH A 400 CLASS NO MATTER WHAT BRAND, THEY ARE ALL GOOD BIKES. FAR AS THE 350 RAPTOR IS CONCERNED FROM WHAT I AM TOLD IT IS FOR CHILDREN AND WOMEN.

People talk them down because they are weak just like a Warrior and have crappy suspension like a warrior.

I've never rode a 400ex so I cant compare it to much. 350's are almost 6 gs new so think Id rather have a 400.

There is something to be said for Honda and they solid reliability and you can't go wrong with any of these. I have a 05 Z400 and it has been the best trail quad I have ever ridden. It may not be the fastest but it is by far the most comfortable for an all day ride and the 10" of ground clearance is nice in the woods.
Good luck
