If you're the original owner should be jetted for your area, but if cleaning the carb jets doesn't help(plus check the needle and seat) there are several different size main and pilot jets listed depending on altitude, modifications, etc that can be used.I've got the 2009 model listed, but the later models show to be the same on jetting choices. Thanks for the reply, we had the jetting right, I've had a 155 main in for a while because I have a hmf, and it's ran great, then last weekend I rode on some pretty dusty trails so I took off the air box and cleaned the air filter it's been running like that ever since I did that, I was thinking maybe something got into the carb when the air box was off, I don't think it could be anything besides something with the carb, I'm pretty sure it's jetted right maybe one is clogged ill see when I clean it. Do you know what else it could be

Could be some trash/dirt got in through back the carb when you did this somehow? Plus recheck the air box seal and boot to the carb for any leaks or split places. Kinda suspicious since you said all this happened after cleaning the air filter. Think you may be right on having to check into the carb.
