Default LT80 Hop-ups needed!

Hi all.... I took my son out Sun to try his hand @ TT racing on his LT-80 and while he ran good and solid he just didn't have enough power. I'm interested in finding 2-3 companies that sell a "complete" upper engine kit ready to bolt on & go racing. IE: cylinder, head, piston, rings, wrist pin, ported & polished cylinder & worked head Etc. Also would a Larger carb be needed based on the engine mods? Any other information on what else to buy or do to set it up would be nice. I figure I'll get some front wheel extenders and some rear wheel spacers. Again, any other trade secrets on what to change, remove or re-work would be appreciated.

Thanks, Rude Dog

P.S. Current mods: Re-worked clutch and after market pipe the rest is stock.

I think I've talked to rudedog,,I may be wrong.

I'd recommend getting an axel instead of rear wheel spacers. Front spacers are ok tho.
Did you put the go-kart tires on the rear? (TT)

Jack:

No... your right we have talked via email to each other.

This whle hop-up/Racing thing just came up. Iknow getting an axle is better, but based on the
track being nearly flat, won't wheel spacers work for now? Also as I'm not 100% sure if my boy
will want to stick with this type of racing so I figured I'd do a few things and then if he decides to
stay with it we can upgrade more parts later. No It's not on Go-cart tires.... just running turf
tamers right now. This ATV is mosty stock except a pipe and clutch mods. I'm just thought maybe
I'd re-work it to run faster & perform better. My thought was to widen the front & rear and bolt
on someones "top-end" kit for more HP. Later if it goes well I can buy specific tires, shocks Etc.
I know there's a lot that can be done to these LT80's and any help in this area would much
appreciated!!!
