too tell you the truth it would have to depend on how much you ride how much you use it for work and what kind of terrain you want to ride on. the auto will be lots better for trail riding and will be somewhat faster accelerating, for rough terrain an auto would be better; for loose terrain like mud or up hilling with loose ground you would be better off with manual. if you want to work with the eiger go with the manual if you want ride and ride then go with auto.
