Trailblazer I personally run a stock carb. Which is 38mm the jetting for the 87 is a 420 the 88 to 90 stock jet is a 350. Alot of performance shops recommend the 39 pwk by kiehin the jetting on that carb for the 88 to 90 is 45 pilot jet and a 140 main jet they use different numbers than miekunni.

Yup the numbers are different. I just picked up this 87 motor today (lt500) i plan on putting it in my 250r 3-wheeler. and im just in the process of jetting it. Something is wrong with this motor. alot of poping kinda seems like it could be the timing but i really dont think it is. My main is a 152 and the pilot is a 52. Ive tryed a bunch of different sizes but does not seem to make a difference. Im starting to think maybe im sucking air from somewhere. The mid and high are real boggy. The timing is advanced alittle so maybe im thinking the base gasket could have a bad spot from backfire. Thier good for that! That would cause all sorts of hell! Tryed a new air filter, new plug. The carb i went threw so i know its not pluged. any idea's?

You may have the timing too far advanced,or it's still lean on the carb jetting. For my PVL they sudjested .087 on the advancing any thing more will cause a painful back kick in the kicker and hurt your ankle and arch of the foot.
