Default Some Q's about the King Quad 700

While you all are discussing the virtues/sins of the KQ, take a look at the review, and ride video of the KQ on atvscene.com.

It has the specs re: compression, weight, acceleration, top speed, etc.

The only question I had was what happens if the EFI quits? I've seen no mention of any type of 'limp' mode.

I'm going to take a wait and see attitude re: the KQ. Yea, I want one now. But I was an early adopter of the Vinson which I don't regret buying. But if I had waited, a few of the glitches would have been fixed before I bought.

I could not care less about mud protection if i get muddy its a good ride if i dont get muddy then the days ride was still good cause im on my own quad but cant beat gettin muddy. And i know the spacers put strain on stuff if u dont want that then try wider tires and rimes like the maxxis all trax. They are really good, or 589's, u know what even better the High Lifter 29.5 Outlaws. Thats whats comeing next. and whats a hick

What do you mean over ridden? and why would you want to override the diff lock pushbutton??

I think some people would want to be able to turn that diff locker on while moving. I am not sure I know 100% how the diff lock works, but I think that some of us would like it to be able to be engaged while mooving.

I say we ask Diamond G or someone to make us a controller that allows us to turn it on at speeds of 12mph or less, and also turns it off it we go over 12mph.

Both myself and one of the other most avid prairie enthusiasts are sold on the KQ.

Although I prefer a V-twin, there just isn't a v-twin with all the right features, balance and low CG.

This KQ looks powerful enough to just about keep up with the BF, so I think the hp is close if not the same. But, there is no doubt that the BF has more bottom end.

What negative features does the Prairie 700 have in your eyes? Although I'm sure it's child's play for most, I dislike the weakness of the CVT. That and the struts are really all I don't like about it.
