Twistgrip throttle?
#11
i love my twist but ill give u an instance....u hit a set of whoops about 30 mph and about 250 yards long about 3-4 feet in depth.anyone knows timming is crucial at this point since your trying to skip one or 2 at atime. now u hit one wrong causing you to stab your thumb thrttle or yank your twist.now if you let off your thumb u still have control with 4 fingers on that hand.as with the twist you keep landing in the pulling the twist position seeings your trying to rurn to the right also your now in sticky situation because u need full control of your vehicle.btw i love my twist would never change it but like stated above ive also been in some hairy circumstances with the twist but after 6-7 hrs of riding my wrist dont cramp like my thumb did. just my opinion.

Well I went back the thumb throttle because I ride my quad pretty hard and I do a lot of jumping and race style riding. In doing this I have had some extreamly close calls and have pulled back on the throttle on accident nearly flipping me and the bike over. Not Cool! 1987LT250R sums up a very good post as well. I have been in the same position!
I've tried both. But for me the thumb throttle works better.
Its all preference.
