I know there are several on this board that have installed jet kits in the Eigers. Which kit did you buy? The Dynojet kit indicates at 15% increase in hp while K&N only 5%. I also plan on switching to a K&N airfilter. Both kits seem to contain the same parts. (5-7 main jets, needle jet, washers and e clip) so why the diff in claimed hp increase? Not sure if the Dynojet kit main jet #s correspond to Suzuki but they range from 110 - 124. The stock main jet is 122. According to aksafari he originally jumped to a 132. I put a 126 jet in mine. $3 from the dealer.

 

There the same. Dynojet makes the kits....everyone else puts there name on it.

 

sliver...did you stay with the stock air filter or upgrade to a K&N?

 

I stayed with the stock filter. I also turned out the air/fuel mixture screw 1 1/2 turns because Eigers run a bit lean from the factory and it gets cold in the winter up here and it ran like crap. You shouldn't have to worry about that where you are. Anyone else reading this who live in cold weather areas I would recommend turning out the screw as it does make a difference.
