sounds like a lose wire or a short or something. maybe even a bad voltage regulator..

 

The headlight is dim when I am riding, and briefly brightens up when i pull the clutch cable in. When i pull and hold the cable in, it brightens, then redims. I dont see how the clutch has anything do to with this, other than rubbing against one of the electrical wires somewhere on the frame. I'm still waiting for a couple of stuff to come in, it should be here tomorrow. Once i get the bike running again, I'll check the ground and make sure everything looks good.

ya it sounds like your wires are messed up i had some problems with my light and it just started messing up because the wires were messed up and i still need to fix that lol its fun to ride at night
