Default 87 250R tike OR 86 LT250R

1987 250R tike. or 86 LT250R Which ones would you buy. both redone motors. lt250 is 2400.00 and the 250r is 1500.00 Besided the fact that one is a tike and one is a quad. which of the two would last longer wear and tear wize which is faster and which is a better bulid i guess all around which is the best bang for your buck. although i like quads better.... BUT if the honda is better then the suzuki all around then i will have to learn how to ride a tike a bit better thanks guy hope to hear form you soon bye bye

Well..I personally would say the 250R ATC (Trike) because I love that model and it was the first ATC/ATV I ever rode...man that thing has some serious power. Learning how to ride an ATC (Trike) is easy because...it's just like a quad but one less tire, meaning more dangerous (the reason they stopped making them haha), they are manual clutch...so is that what you mean? You don't know how to ride clutch? Umm...look at some guides online easy I would imagine...well mabye this helped mabye not.

Peace

personally the quadracer because it is a bike that is really relible to me...depends on what kind or riding you plan on doing that should determine what bike will suit your needs...I would rather jump a quad then a trike...I just built my 86 lt250r and I used to have an 87 it seems pretty much the same as far as power goes...Like I said you should buy depending on the riding you'll do...I like 4 wheels instead of 3

There is no such thing as an 87 TRIKE. The last threewheelers were made in 86.

Get the ATC 250r. It will dust that Quadracer in a straight line and is more reliable due to less moving parts! We had a 89 Quadsport 250 (4 stroke) and is was BAR NONE the biggest POS ever made! It broke down atleast every other week and that was after we purchased it new in 88'. Needless to say that was the 2nd quad we ever owned, and by far the worst designed ATV I had ever seen, rivalling only Polaris for crappy quality! The Quadracer is much better than that 4 stroke POS Quadsport, but the Trike (ATC 250R) will be more reliable. Threewheelers aren't dangerous, but stupid riders are dangerous. Respect the machine and you will be just fine. It is a different breed than a 4 wheeler! 4 wheelers are easy to ride and 3 wheelers take good riders to ride them.

I can definately vouch that it takes more skill and body english to ride an ATC!!
You've got to move your butt all over the place to ride aggressively on one of those 3 wheelers!!
