I ordered mine from these folks hassle free. Now if I have a belt breakage problem, I should be ready to go. I should mention that with 400+ miles, I have never had a belt related problem of any kind even in fairly deep water.

The HP2017 does not fit the KQ, I see dayco has still not updated their information. The OE # for the KQ is 27601-31G00. The Twin Peaks and Prarie belts are not the same as the KQ.

 

That's strange. I called them first and they assured me that it fit before I ordered it. Couldn't have been nicer or seem more knowledgeable.

Nightw50 is right. I just called the folks at the link I provided again and they said they made a mistake. What they are showing and selling as fitting the KQ is not correct. Do not order one from them based on the link they provided me. It will not fit your KQ!

She also said that Dayco has not made a belt for the KQ yet.

Bummer.

 

Carlisle makes a replacement belt. Several guys are using them over at Nyrocs.

Ultimax ATV Belt #UA-401, price about $50.
